Former WBA Heavyweight Champion Of The World, David Haye opened up the doors of his gymnasium last Saturday and was staggered by the response of literally hundreds of fans waiting to see their sporting idol.

“I wanted to give the many fans who  have followed me throughout my career an opportunity to have a photo and gain an autograph, but I did not expect such a massive response” stated a stunned Hayemaker.  “My only regret was that I could not spend more time talking to the fans who had been waiting in the queue for over 4 hours, some had their young children with them, so I was overwhelmed with their determination to get to see me”.

One fan travelled from France, another from Germany just for the day.  In addition there was a massive reponse from fans who live in Scotland, the North of England and the Midlands.  The reaction from the fans wait was so good The Hayemaker had to open up the doors to his gym an hour early and did not sign the last autograph until just before 9pm!!!

Saturday’s signing day was such a success The Hayemaker is now considering holding such events in other parts of the country.
