Haye Bites Back!!!

WBA Heavyweight Champion Of The World David Haye, bit back with considerable venom in response to the recent mutterings of WBO, IBF & IBO Heavyweight Champion Of The World Wladimir Klitschko.  In his last media day before the massive Heavyweight unification showdown with Klitschko, Haye was in a extremely confident mood and he did not mess around in telling the waiting journalists exactly how he was going to deal with his opponent.

The Hayemaker started off by stating "This occasion does not get any bigger, it is without doubt the biggest heavyweight showdown in many years and I have to be at my very best to win the fight.  Myself and Wladimir are clearly two fighters in their peak  so there is no room for excuses or shortcuts".

When asked what the key to the fight Haye answered in typical fashion "The key to the fight is obvious, I have to land my hayemakers ASAP,  when that happens they will take Wladimirs head off.  He has not met any fighter with my speed or condition.  He is used to fighting over rated  fatties who prefer to do their workouts by eating plenty of fast food".

No matter what the question the various journalists had to offer, the WBA Champion Haye had an answer.   So much so, he cut one journalist down to size who doubted Haye could match Klitschko in the last half of the fight if indeed it went that far.  "I have proved time and time again the longer the fight goes on the harder I punch, let me make it perfectly clear I will do whatever it takes  to win the fight".

A lot of questions surrounded whether this could be the last fight for The Hayemaker or whether he would indeed continue beyond his previous statements of retirement. "Realistically this could very well be my last fight,  I am definitely going to retire in October, so after I make short work of Wladimir, if his brother Vitali does not get a move on by having the bottle to fight me then that's it.  You always want your last fight to be your best fight, this will be without any doubt be my best performance!!".

Haye continued "I have always been determined I wasn't going to be one of those fighters  who fights on too late.  There will always be people out there who will claim there is one more fight out there, there is always someone who will make a noise.  My only focus is my career defining fight with Wladimir Klitschko, he is going to get knocked out in his adopted hometown of Hamburg!!!

Tickets are still available for this massive heavyweight showdown at www.eventim.de or alternatively fans can order the event at Sky Box Office by phoning 08442410888.
