In the latest addition of David Haye's official blog, the former WBC/WBA/WBO world cruiserweight champion spells out the dangers that lay ahead on November 15 and also calls for support from his legion of fans.
Gearing up to face Monte Barrett on November 15 at The O2, Haye claims he is in the "greatest shape of my career" and warns that 'Two Gunz' is likely going to prove the "most dangerous opponent I've faced".
"There are three weeks to go until my heavyweight showdown with Monte ‘Two Gunz’ Barrett at The O2 in North Greenwich and at this point in time I couldn’t feel better," says Haye in his exclusive blog. "Training has gone smoothly, sparring’s been great and I’m feeling as fit as ever before.
"I know I need to be at my best for a guy like Barrett. In terms of danger, this is a much bigger test for me than the Enzo Maccarinelli and Jean-Marc Mormeck fights. On November 15 I’ll be fighting a 230-pound guy in Barrett who carries lots of power and lots of heart. He’s the biggest threat I’ve ever faced as a pro..."
